The Author

 
 

John Taylor spent over 40 years at the Parliamentary and Local Government Bar as a QC in many of the famous cases of the era after studying at Cambridge and Harvard. An active life has included 20 years hunting with the Grafton and Bicester Hunts and skippering his yacht, Advocate, to success in the Cowes Regatta in 1991. He has twice stood for Parliament. He now lives an active retirement in Bedfordshire writing and overseeing his collection of trees.
